Q: My AudioFire is not recognized.
A: Check that you are running the latest firmware. FFADO needs firmware more recent than 4.7.5. The absolutely safe option is to update the firmware on a Windows or MacOS machine. You can also upload new firmware on Linux, see http://subversion.ffado.org/wiki/FireworksFirmwareTool.

Q: My AudioFire won’t start up correctly.
A: The Sync setting for the AudioFire is retained between sessions. If you have specified an external sync source, and that sync source is not present any more, FFADO cannot lock to it. Please make sure you have selected a proper clock source before launching a FFADO client (like jackd).
