Device support database

This database contains the information we have with respect to devices working with FFADO. It is not a complete list, and there might be incomplete information in it.

Please feel free to add devices (even if they are not supported) and correct mistakes. Device specific comments can also be attached.

This FAQ entry explains the support levels: What do the support levels mean?

Note that the manufacturers that provide us with what we need have priority. On the device list these are marked as 'supported' and have a support contact attached that has access to the device and can answer questions.

If a device is listed as 'unsupported' or 'unknown', this doesn't mean that we can't or won't support it. Please don't hesitate to contact the vendor to query them to ask if their devices are supported on Linux. This might raise the vendor's awareness of Linux as a viable audio platform.

Please be aware that our primary form of communication is email. So while you can of course ask questions here as comments attached to the devices in question, the chances of answers are much higher when asking on the mailing-lists.
