the mixer is missing but i will wait for !

All is working fine on Windoze but, i prefer the sound with Ardour.(The only thing, Ardour is a bit fragile)

Tested with Ubuntu 10.04 Beta1, 2.8ghz quad core, Gygabyte GA-G41M-ES2H

modelid = 0x0000000C;
vendorname = "Presonus";
modelname = "Firestudio Tube";

},

Can you add a line 'mixer = "Generic_Dice_EAP";' and see if that gives you a working mixer and router?

And please file a ticket at subversion.ffado.org with the patch attached...

I've made a pre-setup,ready for ffado-svn and jack current trunk compilation, for ubuntustudio 10.04 using remastersys. The live CD installs as desired.

What I would like to know is inearlier versions of the dice_avdevice.cpp I could add this information:

namespace Dice {

// to define the supported devices
static VendorModelEntry supportedDeviceList[] =
{
// vendor id, model id, vendor name, model name
{FW_VENDORID_TCAT, 0x00000002, "TCAT", "DiceII EVM"},
{FW_VENDORID_TCAT, 0x00000004, "TCAT", "DiceII EVM (vxx)"},
{FW_VENDORID_TCAT, 0x00000021, "TC Electronic", "Konnekt 8"},
{FW_VENDORID_TCAT, 0x00000023, "TC Electronic", "Konnekt Live"},
{FW_VENDORID_ALESIS, 0x00000001, "Alesis", "io|14"},
{FW_VENDORID_ALESIS, 0x00000000, "Alesis", "Multimix16 Firewire"},
{FW_VENDORID_PRESONUS, 0x0000000b, "Presonus", "Firestudio Project"},
{FW_VENDORID_PRESONUS, 0x0000000c, "PreSonus", "FireStudio Tube"},
{FW_VENDORID_PRESONUS, 0x00000008, "PreSonus", "FireStudio 26x26"},
{FW_VENDORID_FOCUSRITE, 0x00000005, "Focusrite", "Saffire PRO 40"},
{FW_VENDORID_WEISS, 0x00000001, "Weiss Engineering Ltd.", "ADC 2"},
{FW_VENDORID_WEISS, 0x00000002, "Weiss Engineering Ltd.", "Vesta"},
{FW_VENDORID_WEISS, 0x00000003, "Weiss Engineering Ltd.", "Minerva"},
{FW_VENDORID_WEISS, 0x00000004, "Weiss Engineering Ltd.", "AFI 1"},
};

and it worked for the FS Project in ffado-svn r1859, but if I do the same in the latest trunk, it throws me an error.

Has that cpp changed since then?

Is there any chance of a tutorial for the latest ffado-svn for this device on Ubuntustudio 10.04? I had my brothers FS Project running on it using iinfoormation from the "Installing FFADO from source" page.

Later, I updated myself to the FS Tube thinking that it would work, but no dice!

Since then I have re-installed US 10.04 and used the same info, but added the FS Tube info to the configuration file as stated hear, but still having will not connect to dbus service.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you,

andersonics.

Any news about the mixer support? Is there a similar device (10+ XLR inputs) fully supported?
